Depends on colour and if you like the inlet pattern.
That said, a mesh/diamond or slat painted to match body color MIGHT look "better."
The stock grill has an unusual hole pattern that a non-dark colour would emphasize. So, if you like it, go for it. If not, don't.
If you aren't sure, gldnchld360 (a member here) is trying to unload, I mean sell his stock grill. Look in classifieds if gldnchld360 doesn't speak up shortly (I think that is where it was posted).
It would be FAR cheaper to buy that one than buying a new one if you paint yours and really don't like it.

·Yeah and Rev is trying to sell his to. We both live like 30 mins from eachother so shipping will be the same (from washington state) but by his first I may hang onto mine and paint it to..along with the door handles, lifeback handle, rims..maybe...???
