I'm 6' 3" and the steering wheel could be about another 1" back but not a real noticeable issue. For maintenance the oil filter is behind a splash guard? which may be an issue every 5000 miles. I don't maintain my cars myself so it's not an issue for me. The only other annoyance is the driver arm rest. It's too skinny and the center console arm rest is about 4" too low to be of any use (unless you like getting into a mean lean

But I love my xB and find the handling and pep to be more than enough.
