I'd go with the UniChip if you have all lot of aftermarket add-ons TRDSparks link Other than that I would not even consider a chip

From my own research, the only one that makes any sense for Toyota is the Unichip. However, it's not entirely clear even that makes a whole lot of sense. If it's for your DD, forget it, if it's for a dedicated race car, then maybe. Just be prepared to pay for a serious tuning (not cheap) before getting the best it can produce. Generic performance isn't something to get excited about.

Stay away from performance chips but they others have said UniChip seems good but don't get it for a daily driving XB. It's not worth it. Those performance chips you see on eBay for nasty dirt cheap are garbage and possibly will damage your ride. There is a reason they are so cheap.
