Thanks... I was going to post about this the other day, but forgot...

Here's the juicy info ;)

TSB # NV001-08 only applies to vehicles w/ VIN numbers before VIN_ JTLKE50E#81030544

Approximately 10 – 15 mm (0.39 – 0.59 in.) forward of the 2 indicated spot welds, use
a punch to dimple the sheet metal inward 0.5 mm (0.20 in.)
yeah i know i did all my research and im really hesitant to let them take my car apart liek they would ahve to , but my windshield cracked becasue of it anf if i replace my windshield and it happens again ill be pissed so why not fix it im pretty nervouse about it but well see ill keep you posted
and i know my vin is after that production change but thier stil fixing it.
So dimple the metal and this will fix the body flex? Thanks for the information, but I find it hard to believe a hammer and punch will stop the body from flexing enough to save the windshield from cracking.

I have the "A" pillar creaking and now when I take off from a stop I hear a noise from the dash, but I believe the noise is just the plastic parts flexing with the body.

Hope this fix works for you, let us know if the dealer creates more problems when taking the dash out.
I have just started to hear a popping noise from the passenger front side I thought that it was something in my glove box or in the door cup holder but I took everything out and its still there. I have been passing it off since it has been below 0 the last few weeks. Hope that is all that it is but I'm going to have to have it checked out at the dealership.
