Ok so I am curious about what types of cars everyone has owned before there current one. I am 30 and have had quite a few cars, where my sister has only had 4 cars total in her life. She actually still owns her 2nd car.

My list

1986 1/2 Nissan Hardbody
1992 Isuzu Amigo
2000 VW Jetta VR6
1998 Chevy Camaro
1974 Chevy Camaro (same time as the 98)
1998 Ford Ranger
1992 Jeep Wrangler
2000 VW Jetta VR6 (current)
and hopefully soon a new xB or maybe xP if they make it.

Previous cars:
85 Audi 5000- "Spectre"
87 VW Vanagon- "Ghost," renamed "Spectre II"
90 Miata- "Polar Bear" (when white), then repainted and renamed-> "Fenix"

Borrowed 94 Dodge Ram- "Constipated Pig"
Work box truck at time of 1996 Olympics-> "Moby Dick"
(Several trucks rented and driven since have also been named Moby Dick as well)

Wife:
95 Chrysler Cirrus- "Droopy," renamed "Flying Okra" (after an inside joke developed and it was decided the car looked like an okra)
97 Ford Taurus- "Blue Oval" (The car was blue and it was the design where Ford when "oval-happy," also a common nickname for Ford)
06 Grand Caravan- Queen Anna's Revenge (based on Blackbeard's ship and wife's name)

Both:
For a while had a 1996 Crown Vic named "Cruiser" (was my grandfather-in-law's car, originally named "Papa's Cruiser"- after we got it we dropped "Papa's")
-It died and the Scion xB replaced it (Thank YOU!)

MY new one:
xB-> Not yet officially named
Provisional name: Aluminum Falcon, from a skit in a Robot Chicken spoof/tribute to Star Wars

1971 Hornet Sportabout- A family man by now. First car with AC.
1978 Honda Accord- Started my own business. First company car.
1983 Honda Accord- Second company car.
1983 Nissan Stanza- Wife's car, replaced Hornet.
1986 Mazda 626 Touring Sedan- Third company car.
1973 Ford Country Squire- (aka The Queen Mary) Company "truck".
1966 Ford F-100- Combination company truck/project vehicle.
1988 Isuzu Impulse- Lotus tuned suspension, replaced Stanza.
1989 Ford Probe LX- Fourth company car
1993 Ford Probe GT- CC #5. Pampered black beauty. Love affair #3.
1996 Grand Am- Replaced Isuzu. Cheap ride...for 80K miles.
1977 Volvo 242- Son's first car. Almost put me in the poorhouse.
1996 Nissan Hardbody- Replaced F-100. Still have it.
2000 Dodge Viper- Not really. Just wondered if you're paying attention.
2003 Honda Element- Fun ride that turned sour at 40K miles.
2008 Scion xB- The next adventure.

2000-2002: 1990 Ford Escort LX (First car..bought off my brother...loved it..destroyed by a Jeep Wrangler

)

2002-2004: 1990 Chevy Beretta (Booo...but decently reliable...bought off my brother when the Escort was destroyed. Sold it to a friend for my next ride).

2004-2006: 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass (Bass player in my band's grandmother passed. Bought from the estate...couch on wheels...best car EVER, except for the box maybe)

2006-Dec 2008: 1993 Honda Civic LX (Got it for free from a friend after she parked it under a Jag. $700 to fix...put 70,000 miles on it with minimal problems. Traded it in for the box (didn't get much).)

2006-current: 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass S (sweet sweet muscle car. Got it from my drummer's uncle).

Dec 2008-current: 2009 Scion xB (mmhhmmm)

ohhh..I almost forgot band vans...

2003-2007: 1999 Dodge Ram Van 3500 (Drove this guy all over the country...both coasts and everywhere in between....met its end in a van-b-q of epic proportions....still not sure why...rotted lines or something...It was quite a scene)

2008-Current: 2002 Chevy Express Van (Liked the Dodge more..but what are you gonna do? It's big, holds gears....so, good enough)

I gotta get some sweet fashion shots of the Olds and xB intermingling....

How did you like your Miata & GTO? Jumping from a 1.6 to a 6.0 (for 2006 right?) would be a night and day difference. I bet the Miata handled much better....

#1 1990 mazda B2200 1999-2002 wrap it around a tree..
#2 1994 pontiac sunturd 2002-2002 only lasted me 6 months engine went.
#3 1993 honda civic HB"Endless money pit"2002-2011 present. was a daily driver, before i got the turbo bug... how its a toy.
#4 2008 scion XB 7 months to present. so this is my first new/used certified car.

im still looking for a 1979 civic station wagon! that was my moms first car lmao. my dad, on the other hand still has his 1969 dodge coronet.
