Truecar.Com has it at $18300 so it looks like you have a good offer if you're buying it in the States.

I live in the northeast so I definitely deal with a good amount of snow, so far with my manual transmission xB2.5 with stock tires and springs I found it to be fine in all types of snow, of course I take it slow, and haven't felt a need for winter or studded tires.

If you choose the xB for your next car I'm sure you'll love it, I do, yes the power train, mpg & gen is dated, but I feel the overall performance, reliability, utility of it fairs very well against most others in its class.

Good luck.

Scion's official policy is No Haggle and to sell for the list price. That said, if they want to move (sell) the car, they will deal. Since the current xB is a dated design, there may be some room to negotiate. I'd get quotes from multiple dealers and go in being prepared to walk out. Don't let them take your Civic keys away until you sign. Good luck!
Civics definitely hold their value also, I agree Brickpig they need to move the car and will work with you. I saved a lot buying a brand new leftover and even had them throw in an upgraded hu and factory 16s..
