Question about the Xb I need help with

I have a 2008 Scion Xb

i owned the first one in my town

but I have a question i need help with. My mirrors on the front side are black they aren't like the 09's and up when exactly did they start putting the color of the car on the front side of the mirror. Reason I ask bc someone is selling a Xb and they say its an 08 and it has white colored mirrors but i have an 08 and its plain black

Did you buy it used? All Gen2 xBs are supposed to come with painted mirrors.

A non-body colored mirror cap would be an altered-from-stock part, either by the owner and paint or a repair. Stock on all years of second gens match the body color.

What color is your XB? I blacked mine out on purpose! :yes:

True on my 2008 xB...mirror cap matches body paint color.

Ok cool that helps to know, mine was used when I got it, it had 11,000 miles on it I'm now at 67,000 and have been wondering that this entire time. Thanks everyone for the replies!!!!!
