removing clear sticker protectant on rear bottom door

i would also like to know this, they are annoyingly obvious!

i removed one side by gettiing hit in the parking lot. didnt put it back on

i have heard of people taking them off

Try removing the other side and lmk how it goes :biggrin:

You probably have to heat it up gently, like with a hair dryer, and then start peeling it gently off. YOu may need some Goo Gone or something if the glue remains. Good luck.

dont get me started on my bumper n hood , ohh man !

These cars are bug magnets on the highway! My bumper is full of them!!!

I'm leaving them on for now.....hate the rock chips more than I hate the clear film strip

i removed em nd i commute like 10 miles on the freeway everyday. i havent notice anything yet.

Mine were getting moldy/dirty around the edges, one side left a little adhesive, the other side came of clean. it's pretty easy.

Old thread but I wondered about this also. They really show up after a wax on the edge. It seems like a strange place to get rock chips. I notice it sticks out a bit there around the wheel but it's on the back of the car. Rocks chip the front.
