I would be careful with that too. It's hard to bring it back (if possible) to its original condition, because it's a textured surface.xseveredveganx said:^^^^and people crossing their legs with their shoes on! UGH!!! Mine's been scratched up since about a week into ownership...![]()
I heard that if you heat up the plastic with a heat gun, then press the area with a textured leather, it will get it out. But I'm pretty iffy about doing this myself.
It was not very deep so I did not.MenniFresh said:When you used the lighter did you press the scratch down after?
It did NOT flatten out. Basically, it removed the ridge and lessened the depth. I then took a marker, got some ink and blotted it on a wet towel and blotted the wet towel with ink over the scratched area. It blended in well.Dude. said:did it flatten out? or does it still have a texture?
Umm... that's disgusting.RedDragons said:If it is just a light surface scratch you can just use your finger/fingernail and a lil bit of grease from your forehead and rub it on the scratch
