"RhinoLiner" headliner?

4287 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  kingburger
So, I started doing some BMX stuff with a couple of my friends, and I normally have to carry them, and their bikes around. my headliner has started to get a little scratched up. Would it be possible, or would it look bad, to cover my headliner in some sort of Rhino Liner? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Your Headliner is fabric and I don't think RhinoLiner would work. Are you talking about your Headliner in your car or your roof on top of your car?
you could plastidip it.

So are the bikes going on top of your subs? That's how it's getting scratched?

I'd worry about Rhino Liner rattling, vibrating and making your music sound bad.

Plasti dip might work, but you could also just re-cover the headliner in a more durable fabric or something.
I take out my subs, then load the bikes in upside down with the front tires off, leaving the point ends of the forks pointing at the roof. When they're loaded/unloaded the forks sometimes go into the headliner. There is one scratch that actually goes all the way through the fabric into whatever the headliner material is.
