Hey all. I just got my 2008 teal XB and I love it. I was wondering about the alarm system. If the remote dies can you still open the door with the key and some how diactivate the alarm? All my previous cars had a switch hidden some where to do this.Thanks very much for any help.

According to the description in the instructions, the security system will arm 30 seconds after you lock the vehicle's door with the key and will disarm when you unlock the door with the key. The system can be armed with the central lock switch on the driver's door, with the key, and with the remote. It can be disarmed with the key or the remote.
