After owning the TRD wheels I would say no. They ride like crap and they're over priced. Also they oxidize real quick and look bad. For the money you'd spend (close to $2250 said and done) you can get much better wheels, tires and coils.

Here's what I would order.

Find some wheels you like in a 17" or 18" (far better ride.)
Tenabe NF's (close to TRD coils but cheaper and level'er)
General G-MAX tires (guaranteed for 40k miles and cheap)

I went with the factory stuff simply because I could get the car delivered with most everything I'd want to do it, under warranty, without having to scrape up the cash along the way. If I waited, I'd probably take 2 years to lower it and stuff because I suck at saving and I'm a procrastinator. I figure if I'm taking out a big loan, why not add it on the bill so it's done.

If you already have the car, it's probably best just to go aftermarket.

Many people started with the NF's or TRD's and ended up switching to the DF's. The DF's ride great and your B actually looks lowered.

DF's are fine as long as there's no concern about scraping. If there are road obstacles (which are normal for me), then opt for a less radical drop. I went with Eibach Prokit and have no problems to date. NF's would provide similar clearance, though with a more laid back character :)!
