smell of antifreeze

Has anyone noticed the smell of antifreeze once you B warms up and the fan comes on???? Noticed this last year when the B only had about 3000k on it, now that it's warming up here again I noticed it right away. I should probably notify the dealer bit it hasn't lost leaked or used any?

You shouldn't have this particular problem but look for a pink spray line on the underside of the hood. The early 08-09 had a TSB for it as the water pump seal would leak. Have a look here, http://www.newscionxb.com/123-2nd-gen-scion-xb-talk/9182-dreaded-pink-stripe.html
