Well I started my blacked out headlights this morning. Very nervous. lol I wll post pics when I get them put back together later today. Wish me luck. Something about putting a headlight in the oven :rockon:

I was going to say something about saving me some cookies.......

kkr, do you notice any less light at night? The lights are bad enough as they are, I'd think coloring the housing would only make them dimmer.

They look nice with the Black.

I put them in the over at 300 for 9 min. to get the seal to soften. Then I pulled them apart and painted all the chrome flat black. Then put then back in for 6 min and pushed them together so they snapped into the stock holders. Then I put them back on the car. That's what I meant about baking them. You tinted the lens. Two different mods

Here they are baked and painted flat black. I left the high beam light chrome for blue lights later.



And the new carbon fiber wing!

Not as hard as it looks. Two sets of hands help a lot. Just follow the DIY I posted. I wanted to color match them to the stingray met. paint. The only sketchy part for me was putting them in the oven and coming back to a mess of melted plastic :x

did you paint the front emblem black too? or buy a black one? i want mine black if i get black wheels!
