Hi, I just installed an after market stereo for my xb2 and bought a wiring harness too. My rear speaker sounds lower even to non existance. If I fade to rear I can hear but its so low than the front...

My question is on the rear speaker harness there are only 4 wire which connects to the speakers but I have notice that there are 6 wires to the original plug rear right/left speakers and 2 more wire which is orange/grey and yellow if im not mistaken, are this to power up something? do i need to connect this wires? is there a factory amp for the rear hidden somewhere?

if you bought an aftermarket harness that plugs into the factory harness, then it should be color for color. check your settings on the radio. there isnt a factory amp as far as i know, but that would be the blue/white wire. what kind of radio did you buy?

yeh i installed with wiring harness everything was color to color with no problems what so ever. check your polarity on your rear speakers, one crossed wire could cause this i believe . only extra wire was orange i believe.
