Hey guys,
So, I recently spilled some baking soda into my shift mechanism while cleaning my car... Anywho, I took apart the shifter console, cleaned/blasted everything out with some compressed air, and of course relubed the parts that were lubed. The shifter shifts fine until I move from "D" into the manual gear select (and move up/down). It makes a sort of grinding noise when I operate the shifter in this area (shifter is also harder than usual to move...more resistance in this area). I checked to see if there was any obstruction, but there doesn't seem to be.
Any particular solution to this issue?
Thanks guys!
