I noticed that someone pleasantly stole the two rubber "drip moldings" from the top of the roof on my '10 xB. I dont know why anyone would do this. I looked into how much they cost from the dealer, and they are $85 bucks a piece!

Is this something necessary for me to replace? I hate the way it looks without the moldings in there, cuz it looks like 2 "gutters" if you will. But $85 a piece seems a little too pricey. It really pissed me off.

Anyone else have this happen to them? Why would anyone have a need for these pieces unless they needed them for their xB? I added a picture so you can see what I'm talking bout. The piece is #15.

I have seen complaints of them coming off by themselves or starting to peel back.

I "lost" the driver's side molding on my '08 and it was replaced by the dealer under warranty...they do just come off.

so you think that if i go to my dealer and my xB is still under warranty, they will replace both of them?

What a bunch og crap people like that should have there thumbs cut off for that when caught.
