On the way out of my house yesterday a.m., I ran over a rut in the dirt road left by a big truck's dually back wheels. This trench was deep enough to make the dirt scrape the bottom of my B. After driving on the main road black top for a short while, I heard this loud scraping noise. I pulled over at the local convenience store and found the left side shroud pulled loose and touching the tire.
Has anyone had to replace this cover and was it hard to do.

Please clarify, which shroud are you talking about? Front tire, rear tire, or rocker panel?

I'm guessing the front left tire shroud in the wheel well?

You guessed right. It's the front left side. For now, it is tucked up and is not rubbing.
