so im looking to get a diff exhaust... i hate the magnaflow! was looking at Strup and was set on buying it, but now i hear the HKS and want it too!!!!! they are the same price at fastscion.com but i wanted to know if anyone has heard either or both in person and can clarrify the "sexyness" of the sound... lol... i like them because they dont sound like little civics.

Ive heard the strup and its decent. Everyone has it though so Id go HKS.

the CX Racing exhaust sounds awesome but its expensive.

i hear the CX is "stupid loud" because it replaces all the piping. and i have recently heard the HKS is only axle back. based on youtube i like the HKS sound better, but want cat back... :/

I have the strup on my 09 xb with k&n intake. the sound is good. it has a nice sound. the strup without the intake was almost stock sounding but a lot better if that makes any sense.

yeah the cx replaces the scuba tank too, which adds a lot of sound to the exhaust.

I must be getting old... I built my exhaust around the idea of max performance and minimum noise, lol

I've had loud cars before, but the xb just seems to make loud exhausts worse by resonating inside the cabin.
