Im installing footwell cathodes in my xb in the next couple weeks, but im stumped on what project im going to do next. i have been tossing around the idea of an off-set racing stripe, a roof wrap, a new intake, a subwoofer, etc. but im just not sure.

anyone have any ideas what i should/can do to "spruce up" my xb for anywhere from 10-150 dollars.

Maybe adding to the lights, glove box, cargo. They're not much to buy and install but can some mods that others don't have.

Im fond off the offset stripe . . .

Use the bumps on the roof for positioning or it will looks real odd. Mine uses the driver side bump as a stripe center and that also determined the width.

Also, I want to see more folks that putr FLAGS on the roof. It's a near perfect dimension for it, if a bit wider in the front (47") than the back (42") between the black strips.
I'm debating removing my stripe from the roof for either a Scot St Andrew's, red "Moody" pirate flag (actually a real pirate flag from a 1740s French manuscript of flags and NOTHING to do with ANY Capt. Moody), a South Carolina flag in either red or blue, or some combo of them.

Not yet, as I haven't seen any.
I've gotten VERY close to doing a pirate-flag-based one in red and yellow, plus white/gray and black. The big expense is getting enough red to cover the ENTIRE roof.

Non-Xb examples would be Mini Coopers :)

I remember you've mentioned a Clubman was in the running when you bought your Xb. I remember because I have an Xb and my wife has a Clubman! I posted the link so the op could see what it looked like.

i'm also fond of the offset rally stripe. i did it to my own car. cut and installed it myself.
I've thought about a mix between your stripes and TJ's. One wide and one narrow, but much wider than yours. Your stripes and TJ's look great though! :D

I'm waiting for a friend who said he would mock it up on photoshop first.

Mine was supposed to be 10" wide (the width of the roof bump). But, the sign guy insisted on cutting it. It widened bit toward the back slightly.
I ended mine at the back window. I never planned to follow down the hatch, as the hatch has strong horizontal lines. So, the big black stripe would be running perpendicular to it. As I have the red "rear door garnish" (plate area cap), I thought it would be too much going on back there.

On my Miata, I gave a 17" yellow stripe that goes from the bottom of the mouth lip, accross the top (even the top of the windshield frame), back to the bottom of the rear bumper. Its width was set to align to the rear plate hole . . .

(So . . . I like WIDE stripes . . . )
