I've found the threads on changing the lightbulbs for the side mirrors (which I will do eventually) but has anyone tried tinting the lense? Should be able to just do it like my taillights yea? I might try the plastidip light tinting mixture on them since my girl wants her taillights done but doesn't want permanent. She drives an 06 BCP xb. They look good next to eachother

I tinted mine with the VHT Nightshade after I painted my mirror covers. It was way too dark for me after 2 light coats so I stripped them with alcohol and gave em 1 light coat. they are still too dark for me so I may redo em in a super light coat. I had already changed out my bulbs and Im unhappy you can only see them after dark.
