Got 60,000 miles now on my Xb - time to swap out the tires! I've never been a big fan of the stock Bridgestones that came with the car. Have run mostly Michelin's on my Honda's in the past. According to the Michelin web site, they don't make any tires that are "direct replacements for my vehicle's Original Equipment tire specifications". Does this matter? Anybody running Michelin's on their Xb?

Michelin owns/makes BF Goodrich (and their North American HQ is in my neck of the woods). I've been happy w/ the BFG G-Force Sports.

(a) I use Tirerack.com, their prices are great and their advice has always been solid.
(b) I run bridgestone Blizzaks in the Winter (a necessity in Missouri)
(3) I run Bridgestone Potenza (RE960AS) Pole Position in the summer
(d) they're great tires and the semi-annual swap works well since that's a good time to balance and align anyway. - it significantly extends the wear on the tires.

enjoy the ride.

My understanding is that Michelin doesn't make a tire as crappy as the Bridgestones that came on it! Which Michelin did you get?

I replaced my original tires with perelli centurato P7 and have been happy so far. Stock tires seem to always be average at best.

Just wore out my Hankooks after 50K miles and decided to try something different. Purchased Continental Control Contacts and I am totally pleased. Road noise drastically reduced which I was really concerned with! It was a toss up between those and the Perelli P7s which I hear are also quiet.
