Hi all. Brand new here and hoping I can get some helpful feedback.

I'm looking at a 2009 Scion xb with 137,000 miles for $5,988.00. It's 2hrs away so, won't have a chance to drive or check it out in person until Monday. My question is, anybody have a 2009...Any issues...WARNINGS...Luv about it? Don't know if year, price and mileage are a good deal or not, assuming it's in good shape.

Thanks for any advice ya can share!

I bought my 2011 Scion xB for 5500$ CAD (4486 USD) with 120k kms (74k miles) just for perspective. If you plan on modding the body and lights etc, I found that there are far more options for 2010 and older. That being said, I'm sure you can find a better deal.

I know this thread is old now- but I should advise you NOT to buy a 2008-2010 they had bad oil consumption issues, however Toyota said that if the car was under 150k miles- they would fix the issue. The recall is on those years for the xB. Aside from that the prices are absolutely ridiculous now- I have a 2012 9.0 RS and I bought it four months ago at $6900 - after checking its price now, I've seen $12k with ( 118k miles) as high as $15k for a 2012. Be careful and happy hunting.
