Hey, I have an 2008 Hypnotic Teal Mica and I'm thinking about a retro two tone paint job. I want to keep the Teal, but what other color should I use and should the color be on the top half or bottom half?

Im liking the cream like you said and your wheel color would look awesome as a highlight color!

Does anyone know how how to change the color on an image without painting over it? I would like to see what the bottom half of my car would look like if it was painted a cream color.

I have been doing the same thing with 2 tone, I use picassa text, and change color and font with different symbols until my panel areas are a different color. It is a pain and takes some time, but you can really go to town with unique ideas.

Print out a copy and use paint markers?
Sharpies for darker tones.

Go to Tire Rack, bring up the side view of the xB in your color, and copy it into a "paint" program of some sort. The reflections are minimized and it's easier to work with than a photograph.

Go to a auto wrap company and have them take some pictures and they'll do anything you want on the computer that you want.. But mostly I just use colored pencils on a print out first then take that in for someone to make it look more professional.
Vinyl wrap the antique look and then its not permanent.
I'm having some stuff done. I will show you all when its done. I'm also going old school.
