My best friend's sister just got her car detailed. It is a '05 Camry. The guy said while finishing up, the rear deck speaker grilles broke leaving holes. my friend said that he looked for replacements and the whole deck has to be replaced. I went to Sparks Toyota and inquired about this and Tim responded by saying yes the entire deck is one piece for $ 522 (their price $402). I just can't imagine that the grilles cannot be fixed without buying the whole **** thing!
Any thoughts?

you could simply make the detail shop pay for it... That's what I'd do. Since he admitted to breaking them.

I know that when someone works on my car, I sign the work order. But if you read the fine print, it limits the shop's liability, a waiver if you will.
