At TrueDelta.com, I conduct a vehicle reliability survey and post updated repair rates, not just dots, four times a year.

In the latest results, the 2008 Scion xB had a repair rate of 39 successful repair trips per 100 cars per year, which is about average, maybe a bit better.

With more participants, we could provide more precise results. Especially need more 2009s.

We've also introduced two new statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop. We don't have these for the first-gen xB yet, though, because they require a larger number of responses. So if you aren't already participating, please consider doing so.

Got my email to update my info and then an email to check results--very happy I did this. I sent the link t all my friends as they have info on all car brands. Not only is it good to track the vehicle you own, but the site is a good place to look if you are thinking about a future purchase and want to know about a certain make/model. If you haven't got on this band wagon yet--you should!

In the case of the 2008 xB, the percentage with no repairs is about 80, and the percentage of lemons is less than one.

Both are better than average. With the 2009 we were a single car short of the minimum for a full result, so on the site it's asterisked and visible only to signed-in members.
