Hello-

I need to replace my stock 9005 and H11 factory bulbs to 100W H11 and 100W 9005 bulbs as I desperately need the increased wattage for dark nighttime road visibility on Interstates that have no lighting at all.

Will my 2009 Scion Xb be at wiring risk or blowing a fuse using 100W bulbs instead of the stock lower wattage 55 and 65 w bulbs?

Thank you experts!

I would -not- go to 100W bulbs, the current draw may overheat and/or burn out your wiring harness. Instead I have replaced my low beam bulbs with LEDs which are brighter -and- draw less current. I used these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HNKRM56/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 they are fanless and so are more reliable than those that rely on a fan for cooling. Installation is simple, just plug and play. I use this brand on all my cars (2008 Toyota Sienna, 2011 Scion xB, and 2011 Honda CRV) and they all work great!

For your high beams, try https://www.amazon.com/Cougar-Motor...2d435&pd_rd_wg=ap2zl&pd_rd_i=B0932TPYKL&psc=1 (I don't have these on my car.)

Have fun! -BrickPig
