I owned a 2003 Element before the Silver Brick. One of the reasons I bought it was because it looked different, but I got the "Shoreline Mist" color which went nicely with the plastic panels. Now entering its 7th year, the Element looks old. The Cube just looks awkward...kind of in a Pontiac Aztek way. The original xB was a decent looking ride, but I could never get past the Benjamin Buford Bubba Blue lip front bumper. The Soul is just overstyled.

I holding off judgement on the Cube until I see some in person and up close. It might "grow on me" a bit and elevate itself in my opinion . . .

Now, the Soul looks pretty good in picts and magazines, but AWFUL in person. The first half-dozen I saw, I didn't even realize it was the same vehicle type. I thought "what the heck is THAT ugly thing," only later seeing it was a Soul. That saddens me, as I actually tend to LIKE Korean cars. I don't know what it is about the Soul, but it looks worse and worse with each I see in person. It isn't ugly in a cool and quirky way, like the Cube. It is just VERY poorly designed, with front, sides, and rear looking like 3 different designs stuck together with little flow or consistency.

The Cube is odd, but consistent, so it may or may not visually "hold together" after they age a bit.

The Scions both appeal to me. Honestly, I am a bit more fond of the FIRST gen exterior than the second. The second gen, though, has a MUCH better interior and "performs" much more to my my liking and tastes. As that is what I see and "feel" as I drive it, that is what is more important to me.

I saw a Cube yesterday and actually tried to snap a pic, but it didn't work too good. It wasn't too bad actually. It was even an ugly olive green color too. I've not seen a Soul, but they look quite cartoonish to me on paper.

I agree with the part about the scions. the first gen appealed to me more than the secound. But i couldnt get past the interior and the power of the second gen for almost the same price.

Personally, I think the Cube is a pretty nifty little car, and much more like an xB1 replacement than the xB2 -- a true box (er, Cube :))!. However, I find the Soul to be somewhat offensive, it just steals too much from the xB2 appearance. Hopelessly derivitive IMO -- and excessive quality issues as well from what I read.

The Nissan Cube is definitely the worst. I sat in one, and my knees were on the dashboard, way too small.

The Honda Element is my second favorite, next to the xB2 of course.

The Cube is the worse to me. You might as well plaster Hello Kitty all over the inside and outside.
Hello Kitty! You crack me up

Ugliest car I have ever seen. Even uglier than the Pontiac Aztec. Looks like a kid's toy, and a bad one at that.

The Soul.. while it does look like the xB, it's not really a rip-off. There are a lot of differences. I'd buy one if there was no xB. I happen to like to look of the Soul.

I can see why the comments about the cube being a "hello kitty" car, but i have to say, I was recently at a car wash in my area when a Nissan Cube pulled in. Very impressed. It had a nice set of wheels on them, fog lights, spoiler, and rain deflectors. VERY NICE :naughty: Once it was done in the car wash, I asked the owner if i could take a peek inside. One look and  its a sardine can in there. That moment made me appreciate my xb even more :) Although her Cube looked nice on the outside, the interior space was a total disappointment.

As far as the Soul goes, :yucky:  :x have to listen to mom on this one " if you have nothing nice to say, then..."

Soul & Cube, blatant knock offs..

The worst part of the Kia Soul is the last commercial...
The commercial is awesome I love it, made me laugh my *** off. But I do not like its message.
I thought the song was annoying. and "A new way to roll" is false. I agree, I don't like it's message. The idea is cool, but not portrayed well.
