I don't have my xB yet but the one thing I already love is the simplicity of the business model. All you have to decide upon is the external color and whether you want manual or automatic transmission. All other options a la carte.
I saw a 2009 Pontiac Vibe parked on our street. Before the xB, the Vibe was one of the cars I was considering. Anyway, I went on the web to check out the '09 Vibe just for fun (since I've pretty much already settled on getting an '08 xB) and was immediately reminded of what I have always hated about new car shopping... the multiple trim levels, trying to figure out what's standard and what's optional at each level, options packages, etc. Scion has really got it right with the streamlining and simplifiying of the purchase process.
And, while some might not like the no-haggle "Pure Price" policy, I like being able to specify exactly what I want, knowing exactly how much it's going to cost, and being able to walk into the dealer with financing already arranged - at that point it's just paperwork more or less. Takes all the guesswork and shell-games out of the process and makes the purchase of a car an enjoyable, rather than a stressful experience.
