What is your favorite feature on your 2nd gen xB?

for me it is the S-mode sequential shift on the automatic transmission - i really like being able to manually shift w/o a clutch when i want to. it really utilizes the engines power better when a boost of speed is needed or wanted :D

it is also great for hill / mountain driving as it will help to use the engine to keep the vehicle in control on steep grades [up or down] by being in the proper gear...

i see 16 people have read this so far, are you all having a hard time deciding what you like best, or what?
I really like the IPod connection and the traction & stability controls worked awesome this winter in Illinois.

There are alot of things I like but I have to agree with the above. The sunroof is awsome. Its so freakin huge too.
I like the shape, especially the front end. Reminds me of an old Saab 99 we had growing up withe the wraparound windshield taken from an airplane.

2nd place would be the "lounge-like" interior....I think they really got this right.

Minibus
I love the space- enough room for my 8 year old son and the lab ! It's also fun to drive!!!
You know I was driving my xB home the other night and I stated to myself about something new I realized was one of my favorite things. However I just can't think of it right now. Something I would totally not have thought about if the driving conditions hadn't been just right.

Perhaps it was the James-Bond style ejection seat you came across when that assassin tried to whack you on the way home from a long hard day at work?
Funny you should say that, as I have the James-bond theme on my i-pod hehe.
So far, had it one day, the sunroof!

LOVE the space, pep and color.
I Luv it all.... There's rm for the kids & my nut case lab smiley.... But if I have to pick one it will be my Sunroof.... ;)
I don't have my xB yet but the one thing I already love is the simplicity of the business model. All you have to decide upon is the external color and whether you want manual or automatic transmission. All other options a la carte.

I saw a 2009 Pontiac Vibe parked on our street. Before the xB, the Vibe was one of the cars I was considering. Anyway, I went on the web to check out the '09 Vibe just for fun (since I've pretty much already settled on getting an '08 xB) and was immediately reminded of what I have always hated about new car shopping... the multiple trim levels, trying to figure out what's standard and what's optional at each level, options packages, etc. Scion has really got it right with the streamlining and simplifiying of the purchase process.

And, while some might not like the no-haggle "Pure Price" policy, I like being able to specify exactly what I want, knowing exactly how much it's going to cost, and being able to walk into the dealer with financing already arranged - at that point it's just paperwork more or less. Takes all the guesswork and shell-games out of the process and makes the purchase of a car an enjoyable, rather than a stressful experience.

   ITA
i-pod hookup and the amount of room i had a tc and it was a blast to drive but the blind spots and lack of room made it just a drive fast car and i needed something with more room the lack of aftermarket parts is strarting to piss me off though.
I'm still reading all the replies but for me I love the optional illuminated sills (Which I have). And for the can't get an xb2 without option, I like the side windows. The body looks chopped like an old 50's street rod. The front windows look tinted on my silver classic.
1. the ability to do what i want with it. (yes there are a lot of aftermarket parts avail)
2. ******The rs 5.0******* limited edition
3. the stereo controls in the steering wheel.
4. the power it has for its size.
5. the looks i get when i ride past a group.
6. The inique shape.
7. the gas mileage.
8. It fits in the garage nicely with my motorcycle.
9. shopping for add ons
10.the way people stop and look at it in a paring lot.
11. the sunroof.

more to come, i really need to give this some thought..... :p

Nice list Goldtouch!

glad to see you are enjoying your xB as much as me!! :D
hey yangs, I can honestly say this is probably one of the most enjoyable rides I have ever had.. There is so much you can do to it..To bad my daughter is starting college this July or i could really go wild. :D
HI all. I'm brand spanking new here today.

I just got my xB2 last night. I traded in my 00 Xterra for it. I was sad to see the Xterra go after almost 10 years with it. (we had lots of great times together)

But it was time for a new car. The things I love about this car are:

iPod. Finally the car is as up to date technologically as I am!
Roominess. My Xterra had tons of room, and that was a huge selling point for me...the xB (at least on paper...) can carry almost as much as the Xterra
Gas Milage..My Xterra was a gas monster. With a long drive to work, I'm expecting I might save enough on gas that the upgraded rims and extended warrantee will pay for themselves!
Operational Lifetime...We'll see about this one, but the guy who sold it to me said that I could expect it to last 400,000 miles. My Xterra was starting to show it's age at a brisk 160,000.

and most importantly...it's so much fun to drive! it's zippy in ways the Xterra never was

13. The way it hugs the road, especially on turns.
14. It's very photogenic.
15. The quick acceleration.
16. The way my new wheels look on it.
17. The questions I get when I'm near it in a parking lot
18. Its GOLD......
19. That I can talk about it for hours.
20. It has it's own website.
21. The great people on the web site.
22. That I'm not the only one thats crazy about it.
23. The way people look and point at it as I drive by.
24. IT'S MINEEEEEEEEEE...

I think thats enough for now... :smartass:
