I am looking for a set of 18x8's for my 2015 XB. What offset/backspacing should I be shopping for? It will be on air ride in July/August and I do not want to roll the fenders since it is a brand new car. I have found a lot of +38 to +45 offset wheels.

To fully answer this question you also need to consider the width and height of the new tires you will be putting on your new wheels.

Go to
Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com
then click on Fitment Guide on the Left Column. Input your car year make and model then click on the Compare Sizes link.

Now on the left you will see your stock tire/wheel size, on the right you can play with different tire/wheel sizes and offset combos to see what might fit inside your fenders. This tool will also predict speedometer error (which most people try to minimize). Have fun.
