Hey I am waiting to upgrade on my exhaust and dealer says trd won't fit due to body kit on the 8.0 model but wanted to see if anyone has msde any modifications to make it for it or bought another brand? Let me know thanks :)

Trd exhaust is just for the name. You wont hear a differrnce. **** I made the axel back straight pipe and you barely heard a difference.
Had to get rid of that **** scuba tank.
Voodoo I'm with ya on this one. Although I've had exhaust systems like this in the past, I really don't want to have a big muffler hanging out the back of my RS8. I personally love the look of the 1st gen TRD exhaust/muffler tip. Not a fan of the flat 2nd gen TRD tip. I'll post up some options if/when I find them.
I agree on this... I really not a fan of the Big Circle Muffler on the xB.

I have seen someone on youtube have a SE greddy oval one look pretty sick its smaller tip.

boooo then you wont like how it looks on my car then Cmudge26 lol

everyone will have mix feelings and opinions i feel it is all up to the owner and the look he or she is going for. i personally like the tuner look so a big A$$ canister is what i like and being a 5 speed make the sound alot better just IMO.

there are many catback systems on the market that have a stock look and there are TRD knock-offs out there
Yeah I like the trd because it isn't huge but wondering if others had installed a better lookin exhaust which I might do or else it seems like it will have to be a straight custom exhaust
this thread needs 600% more pictures

I would of changed mines with a straight pipe and trd tip buty lady disagrees with the sound it will create on long trips lol
I know I will like yours but personal perference wise for me Unless I had a body kit to cover up that big muffler, but thats the only way. lol
Is there isn't alot of companys that make the oval shape exhaust either.

Had a straight pipe on my rs8, With just a auto parts store tip. Sounded fine and not loud at all. Kids slept like that.

My 12 SW came with the trd exhaust. annnd it sounds very stock except for starting off at low rpms. Nice low rumble. Plan is to one day get a new mid pipe (scuba change). I think then the trd muffler will sound as it was intended. BUt with a stock exhaust in front of it, its a waste of $.

Yeah I forgot about the long trip sacrifice but oh well I just missed the sound. Also considering in getting an short ram intake that might produce enough sound
lol that was my Tsudo exhaust on that link. I got tired of of swerving sideways on driveways and speed bumps.. I have a strup catback on it now so it doesn't scrape hardly at all.
