Sunday was a beautiful day (Father's day and all that). Low humidity, temps in the 70's not a cloud in site, a good day to redo the steelies. I had gone to two different body shops for estimates. One was $100 per wheel, the other was $65.
I got all the stuff needed at the local home center for $40 and did the fronts before running out of time and going out for dinner. They were stuck on because the center flanges were corroded. A little liquid wrench and time broke them loose. They turned out great-looking like new. Today, after doing some stuff, I'll start on the rears.

From the title of your post and when I read the first line of your post, I thought that you got new alloy wheels for Father's day.

$100 per wheel is almost the same cost as some alloy wheels.

There's always next year...

Yep, you can get some cool Drag wheels for about $100 apiece.
Show us pics when you get a chance :)
