Ok. On the real side. I miss having stick. My 08bsp was a 5spd. My rs8 is auto.

Sooo. Im thinkin any one want to do a heads up equal trade. And yes preferably another rs8.

I was thinking about dropping 5 speed manual in my xb to replace auto. Been checking to see if we can do it around 1500.00 or so. Have you considered that? Or am I crazy?

Too much work for me im thinkin.

My thought is yer gonna dump (1500) Into something to make its value less. As in a stick was cheaper anyway.

Which is why before I start puting on a garage full of parts. Id like to trade her first.

I had a hard time finding a manual rs8. They are somewhat rare. I wonder if scion made 50% manual and 50% auto. However I have no regrets on the auto since my other toy is a manual anyways.

If I had driven a manual xB, I would have gotten one. I am spoiled by having a Miata (one of the best manual tranny's ever), so the "similar" Toyota manual I tried felt awful and sloppy by comparison (was irritating to me). The B's manual, however, is NICE!

I think I read somewhere that something like less than 20% are manual (all models, not just the RS 8. That's why the manual transmission cars are harder to find.

Manuals must be rare. I was at the dealer getting a free oil change, and one of the very young girls who write you up had to ask another girl to move my B because she doesn't know how to drive a stick transmission. I asked another young lady and she said that they don't get a lot 5 spds. in for service. Must be me, but I thought that if you work somewhere, you should know how to do your job.

Yeh BP I think it is very close to that. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. But the 5 speed is just more fun to me.

Dale I gotta agree to a point yes. But thats where training has been slacking.

I want my daughter to know how too. Not to mention its cheaper to replace a clutch than a whole trans. Although these nowadays trans are much better than they used to be.

BOT, I did fi d a B that id like to get. Prob is its brand new. And 6 hours away. My thinkin is to sell a bike and my rs8 and go for it.

All the rs8s iv seen are goin for 16500 and up.i was thinking a honest 15.

Understood Slorocket, I've always preferred manual as well. Coming from a brand new RS 8 owner (just 1 month now) perspective who searched forever to find a manual before buying in the end I didn't find one. My (new to me) RS 8 (#1786) only had 6,200 miles so I went for it. It was clean, hadn't been completely modified yet and was well taken care of. Even with all of that reassurance I wonder all the time if I made the right choice.

Ive been digg8n the white alot lately. Dunno why, but have. Dont get .e wrong, I truly love my VDB, search some time for it too.

Theres features on the gen 2 as well as the gen 2.5. But fi di g what I truly want after learning and having both.

Still, will b a B! I love this car!

Agree agree with the white. For some reason I love it lately! Must be everybody I see on here like hawaiian punch or flex
