You can use the finest grade steel wool I use 0000 I run a glass company we use it to clean mirrors and it doesn't scratch just make sure your windows are clean. It will also remove waterspots from your windshield and windows.

and for removing light scratches that look like swirls?..u can see then in the sunlight
we have a syrum that we use to buff scratches out of glass anf local glass shop should have some you can use it with a small felt buffing wheel and it will work. If your fingernail can drop in it you will not be able to get them out.
what is the syrum called? and any glass place has it?.....ive used a clay bar on it but didnt do much just repels water off really good. and the steel wool im kinda skeptikal of using it because i think it will scratch even more??
The steel wool will not scratch the glass if its clean just be light with it I do mine weekly it gets the water spots and stuff off. The syrum is just called that lol. If you ask a glass company for the orange stuff they use to buff and polish with they will know it goes a long way you dilute it with water to make a slightly runny paste and away you go. The steel wool if its new can be used with the syrum too to help with water spots. You just have to be easy with it and not put all your power into it while buffing lol.
thx sjthompson01 imma peep that orange stuff : )
also whAT window cleaner should i use to avoid these unwanted marks
Spray away and a micro fiber cloth no streaks guarantee it! And it's ammonia free you can use it on your tint inside.
