I have a 2008 scion xb the navigation went out and looking to get a new one please help me out I haven't even had the car a month yet thanks

DVD drive it says can not read disk please insert correct map disk it worked the other day and just stopped tried pulling battery and cleaning disk but didn't work

Did u see if ur under warranty?

Try going to scion and see if they have another map disc you can test. It might not be the unit. Or just take it to stereo place they should be able to find the problem.

I've read on other forums that the DVD drive burns out I will see if I can try a new disk but from what I read its no good

Which radio is? Is it the alpin upgrade or the Large 7 inch screen upgrade ( forget who makes it). The dvd will cost you a couple hundred dollars if needed. I have the scion xb upgrade that i am trying to sell for $225 it has the navigation option but i have never used it for navigation and not sure if it will work. Just an option if you are interested.
