Which pieces are giving you troubles?

I have an rs6 too,

I have had the oval bezel around the stereo off many times. To get it off I have usedat various times a flat-bladed screwdriver, a 1" putty knife, wooden shim. Whatever you use, wrap the end in electrical tape so you don't scratch the plastic. I usually start on the passenger side just because that's where I sit so the steering wheel isn't in the way. Squeeze the top and bottom of the bezel slightly to make a small gap, put your putty knife (or whatever) in there and just pry up. It is only held on by clips. It once you get it started it should just pop right off. Once you have that off, there is a narrow piece across the bottom of the opening that also slides straight out to give access to the lower screws on the stereo.

Good lookin out, I'll try that when I get home (having trouble with the OEM fogs going out with my DDM tuning hids because of rain)

If you are trying to remove the dash piece that has the fog switch in it, that's easy too. Sitting in the driver's seat, grab the bottom of the dash by your right knee and pull towards you. It should easily pop out. Then just work your way across to the left side. Don't yank the dash piece out too far (more than 2 or 3 inches) because you will have to undo the wires from the back of the buttons. There are at least 2 on the left (fogs and traction cont.) and 1 more on the right way at the bottom for the TPMS reset button.

Oh no sorry I meant my fog lights are going out because of water shorting them not me trying to get the accent pieces off.

I thought you maybe you were trying to take it apart to look for the short.

He has an rs 6 which is a 2009, though either trd cai should fit.
