i'd be smart to protect your warranty. i would not recommend throwing away a $1000 - $1500 7yr/100k in order to save $50 - $75. if your B was out-of-warranty or you didn't fork over the costs for an extended that would be different story.

any performance gains with aftermarket cai couldn't justify the risk to such an investment. i have the trd cai and it has served me well over the years. i've cleaned the filter twice and it's still performing as designed.

sorry to barge-in guys, but this conversation seems a little off-topic. we started with the trd cai, then dash pieces, now fogs. maybe we need to start a new thread so others can benefit from what's being said.

@zinger, the info about the dash pieces was very helpful. i would have missed that if i hadn't been browsing.
