I have read a few good things about installing a Front brace on my First Gen xB, that it will tighten up the steering and its steering wheel feedback.

Looking at this unit: scion xB Weapon-R bars - Google Search

The mounts are only for 6 bolts, is this enough mounting locations to make this type of steering improvement feedback?

From every thing I have read the hinged style front brace is only for looks.

All xB front braces are for looks only (this apples to both gen 1 and gen 2). The strut towers are so close to the firewall that there is little to no flex at all.
