I am going to look at an 08 with 83k miles and an 09 with 61k miles tomorrow. I have read about some oil consumption issues with those two years but what else should I be on the look out for and is the oil consumption still an ongoing issue or has toyota come up with a fix?

If you see the pink stripe, just make sure the water pump was replaced. After that it's not a continuing issue.

I'm pretty sure the 08 had a recall for the coil packs. Again, once replaced, they are not a problem.

One of the ones I looked at had a recall done on the coil packs and the other had one done on the window switches. I found a couple of decent ones today but I am going to keep looking a bit more before I make my decision.
