make sure the guy knows what he's doing and actualy does it...$90 is a lil low of a price granted I'm in canada but my cheapest but most popular package is $159.99 for a chemical bath claybar and 2 compounds then a coat of wax... even side jobs at home I wouldn't do this for less than $120 cash no tax as this is 4-5 hrs of work when being done correctly
He is pretty legit he does our repos for the credit union I work at and just his wash and wax looks great! I am gonna ask him about what compounds and stuff he uses first though
1yr old and fresh wash tonight...proper paint care and still shines like its new can't wait to put my 18s on and my last 2 vinyl colors to come in..itll be a shame to cover this glass like paint but perfect paint to lay vinyl right there
another big job an a mercury montego I disnt get to do a full before and after do to the size of job lol but from the one quick pick here you can see the difference this is 25yr old acrylic paint and that spot I buffed looks good
I got a question. I got a white 2012. And I have a problem with those little rust specs all over the car. You know the ones that you see TONS of when you get close. I had a friend of mine take a clay ad and some compound to a small spot to see if it comes off, and it did but it seems like ALOT of work for such a small area. And ideas? Would your $159.99 package take them off?
yes siir it does! doin a white murano as we speak same problem its about 4hr of work proper removal is done with a chemical bath then a clay then cleaner compound anf the seal it up with a wax. what those spots are, are commonly callef rail dust usualy from trains or industrial areas and alota cases guys who are heavy brakers
What's a good product to restore the look of black exterior plastic pieces? I just bought a used Mini Cooper for my daughter and it has black plastic around the fenders. It looks like someone got some wax on it and I want to make it look black again.
With all products out there under the "car wash" title, I am talking about the ones you add to your wash bucket at about one ounce per gallon type. Which do you think are safe for paint? And what is (if any) the trick to a spot free rinse?
spot free rinse.. well if that's what your after dont worry bout the soaps that's a small element if it first off make sure you clay bar your car atleadt once a year and wax regularly. that's the key ther I clay and carnuba wax x2 a year and do paste wax inbetween that's how I get a spot feee einse now using soft water is another big help but again the seceet is all in paint care not gimmicky additives hope that helps so if ur intrrested I can list the steps and procedures I can lay out fot ya
