Your windows freeze shut too?

Well freezing temperatures are here again in the great Midwest. My driver side window has frozen shut three times in the last two weeks. After running the car for 10 to 20 with heat on of course and slamming the door few times it thaws out and the window opens.
Has anybody had the same problem out there? Do guys have any ideas what I could do to get the moisture out of the molding of window so it won’t freeze shut?

just wondering why you'd want to open your windows when it's so cold out? i live in upstate new york and i don't generally open my windows at all from september - april, though sometimes i have to to look for traffic out of my development after frosty nights, but they don't ever freeze shut.

you could try a spray deicer along the bottom of the window frame, it may help melt some of the moisture thats holding the windows shut. it's moisture on the outside of the car, which is why it takes sooo long to thaw with the defrosters on.

stay warm out there

- To pay tolls (if you don't have an E-Z Pass)
- To give money to the homeless guy while waiting for the light to change
- To buy a bag of oranges (oops...that's California. Never mind).
- Five finger wave to Santa
- One finger wave to the guy who just cut you off
- To pick up your order at the drive-thru

Ditto on the de-icer.
haha that made my morning! wish i was in california, a drive by orange pickup service would be awesome
